Tyler Miller, President of Shenandoah Valley Educational Television Corporation and President of adjacent Madison College, welcomed nearly 200 guests to the station’s Production Center. Senator Harry F. Byrd, Jr. addressed the gathering and he was introduced by State Senator George Aldhizer II. Open house followed the dedication and visitors were conducted through the single-story brick and glass building termed one of the most attractive facilities of its kind in the state.
