Day Service
James R. Cousins Jr. wilt be the guest speaker for the Men’s Day Service Sunday, July 6 at the First Baptist Church, Washington, Va. He is the mayor of Glenarden, Md., first elected in 1941 and most recently re-elected in May of this year. He has been instrumental in the general development of that city, seeing through the installation of public utilities, roads and obtaining an Urban Renewal and Public Housing Authority.
