Vi cup peanut butter Vi cup sugar
Vi cup firmly-packed
light brown sugar 1 egg
Vi teaspoon vanilla extract

Cream together shortening, peanut butter, sugar a
and brown sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in 0
egg and vanilla. Add flour to creamed mixture, 0
mixing well. Shape dough into small balls, and j
place about 1 inch apart on ungreased baking J
sheet. Press crosswise with fork. Bake in pre- j
heated 375° oven 10 to 15 minutes, or until golden o brown. Remove cookies to wire rack and cool. 0
