Mrs. T. C. Lea returned home , last Wednesday after spending several weeks with Mr. and Mrs. John Cargill and family in Bedford and Kitty Hawk, N. C. and Mr. and Mrs. T. L. Williams in Amherst. Mrs. James M. Settle of Front Royal was a visitor Sunday of Mr. and Mrs. W. Arthur Miller and Miss Kate Walker. Mr. and Mrs. D. D. Miller, Jr. and family of Fairfax spent the week-end at the home of Mr. and Mrs. J. Newbill Miller. Their son Dick returned home with them after spending two weeks with the Millers at The Maples. Mrs. E. A. McNear is a surgical patient in Walter Reed Hospital, Washington, D.C. Mr. and Mrs. George H. Davis, I Jr. and daughter Drucilla left I Tuesday to enter Drucilla at ' Camp Lake Crest in New York state. Mr. and Mrs. Davis continued on for a weeks visit with the Rev. and Mrs. Park Dickerson and family in Johnson, Vermont. Mrs. Harold Scoggin returned to her home last Wednesday from Warren Memorial Hospital. Miss Becky Edmonds of Front Royal was a Sunday visitor of Mrs. J. M. Lillard. Mr. and Mrs. David Collins and daughter Susan Michelle of New Carrollton, Md. spent the week-end with Mr. and Mrs. William A. Curtis. Mrs. Collins and daughter remained for the week with her parents.
