The 'Deaconess Baord of Macedonia Baptist Church, Flint Hill, will be in charge of the food service from 12 noon until 7 p.m. A typical southern dinner will be available for $1.50 and will include country ham, fried chicken, corn pudding, string beans, potato salad, cole slaw, | deviled eggs, homemade hot rolls,
| homemade pie or cake and coffee. For those who do not wish a complete dinner or for children there will be hamburgers, cheeseburgers, hot dogs, chicken by the piece, soft drinks, pie or cake. Food will be served from the kitchen of Trinity Episcopal Church and ' from the small building across the street next to the antique shop.
The fire works display will begin at 9 p.m. with Paul Miller of Flint Hill in charge. The best viewing area will be on the hillside near the court house. Spectators are requested not to throw or leave any litter on the grounds.
It is recommended that vehicles be parked on Gay Street and other side streets rather than on the highway. The Carrigans invite everyone to come and enjoy the music, patriotic program and fireworks.
Trash Pickup Delayed
Due to the Holiday weekend, trash in Town of Washington will not be picked up until the following Saturday.
