me imoir oi tne Amissville Baptist Church provided special music Tuesday night at Brandy Baptist Church Revival under the auspices of the Rev. A. C. Walker of Culpeper. The Rev. Charles Kindred and Mrs. Dolly Melborne were in Winchester Tuesday to visit Mrs. Charlie Priest who is in the hospital there. They also visited Beverly Stringfellow in the hospital in Front Royal; Mrs. Frances Smoot in Fauquier Hospital and Mrs. Annie Latham in a Manassas Nursing Home.
Cheryl Poling accompanied her grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Henry Lillard of Rapidan to Kutztown, Pa. for a few days at the Folk Festival there.
Mrs. Martha Garrison and Mr. and Mrs. John Early accompanied by Misses Diane and Joanne Pullen of Sperryville spent the weekend in Phoenixville, Pa. where they visited Sgt. Homer L. Garrison, jr., in Valley Forge General Hospital. Sgt. Garrison, who was injured in Vietnam, will arrive home today to stay through the weekend, and be feted with a family picnic before returning to the hospital. Miss Phoebe Green was in Williamsburg Monday to attend the retirement party for her former employer V. L. Nunn who was treasurer of the College of William and Mary. The party was given by Davis Paschall the president of the college.
Mr. and Mrs. James Harper returned to their home Saturday after spending a week in Paducah, Ky. where they visited his parents Mr. and Mrs. Howard Harper. On Sunday the Harpers, accompanied by Mr. and Mrs. Ted Baker and daughter Michelle, spent the day iat the Zoo.
Mr. and Mrs. Earl Mann of Suitland, Md. were overnight jeuests Saturday of Mr. and Mrs.
