Carlyle Lea of Culpeper and Mrs. Thomas Howie of Staunton, Virginia attended the dedication of a monument in St. Lo, France commemorating the 25th anniversary of the liberation of that city by allied forces. The dedication specifically honored Maj. Thomas D. Howie, the late

The battle of St. Lo is said by many to have been the key to the liberation of France. After this
