ANNOUNCEMENT
Mr*. Deward Edgar Walker, Sr., Secretary-Treasurer and General Manager of Front Royal Insurance Agency, Inc. and W. J. Kendrick and Company, 9-A South Royal Avenue, Front Royal, Virginia announce! the reorganization of thit corporation on Tueaday, June 17, 1969, at a Call Meeting of the stockholder* of the corporation which was held in their offices at 3 P.M.
Due to the sudden tragic accidental death of Mr. Deward Edgar Walker, Sr., who was president. Realtor and Loan j Broker of the corporation, on Sunday, June I, 1969 in his home "The Limberlost Cottage", 219 Mosby Lane in Front ! Royal, it became necessary to call the stockholders together for the purpose of reorganization and redaction of new officers.
Since Mrs. Walker is now the sol* owner of the majority of the stock in the corporation, Mr. and Mrs. Walker's son. Dr. Deward Edgar Walker, Jr. of Pullman, Washington State was elected to the office of President of the corporation to succeed his father, the late Deward Edgar Walkar, Sr. of Front Royal. Dr. Walker who at present is living in Pullman, Washington will move to Boulder, Colorado in August where he will be a member of the Department of Anthropology at the University of Colorado.
Mr. P. Warren Anderson, Jr., Operations Officer of the Fidelity National Bank, Amelia, Virginia, and the son of the lata P. W. Anderson, Sr. of Marshall, Virginia is VicePresident of the corporation.
Mr. Howard Duncan, Realtor and Broker of Duncan Insurance Corporation in Front Royal, Virginia will have a No. 2 office at 9-A South Royal Avenue in order for the corporation to remain in the Real Estate business, and, until such time as the Corporation can have their own broker for Real Estate.
Mrs. Charles E. Leadman, Sr., Real Estate Sales Lady, will work under the Duncan Insurance Corporation License until such time as the Corporation can scaur* someone of their own to be Broker for the Corporation.
This fin* group of young people solicit the continued patronage of their many customers and friends in Northern Virginia for general insurance, real estate listings, sales, rentals, mortgage loans, bonds, life and accident hospital!zation.
