Injuries Slight

Traffic Collisions

Injury and property damage were light in three traffic crashes reported by Trooper W. A. Buntin.

The first was a two-vehicle collision which occurred on Feb. 5 about 5:30 p.m. on Route 211, two and a half miles west of Washington. Freddie Jackson of Sperryville, operating a 1962 Chevrolet slowed to make a right turn into Pine Knot Inn. He was struck by Edgar Robert Lumpkin of Memphis, Tenn. in a ’66 VW who failed to see his signal.
