Guess you could call me an avid reader. When I was young and enjoyed perfect vision the term would have fitted me more to a T. I read the Bible through several times, the New Testament possibly fifteen or twenty times. I've studied the origins of other popular religions, theories of the origin of the universe and various species. I especially like Action, I can just relax and not concern myself too much with the plausibility of the story.

I recall a story that has haunted me since I Arst read it. .There were two brothers in love with the same fair maiden. She favored the younger brother, he was just a clean cut young man who loved the open spaces and life in general. Big, bad brother was an alchemist who was adept in the black arts. Why should big brother give up when he could mix a potion and eliminate the competition? Well, he mixes his potion and introduces it into baby brother, who instead of disintegrating completely, retains his torso. Big brother brings his black magic into play again • he cuts off the head of his horse and attaches baby brother’s torso to body of horse, creating a centaur. Baby brother lives a long and more-or-less happy life thundering over the meadows at night while big brother, married to a woman who does not love
