Mr. and Mrs. Joel Jenkins of Flint Hill and Ted Nicholson of Front Royal were Sunday callers of Mr. and Mrs. Jack Nicholson. Mrs. L. J. Turner spent Saturday in Richmond. Mrs. Janie Beahm of Sperryvilie is a visitor this week of Miss Irene Keyser.
Visit Puerto Rico
Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Thornhill of Boston spent from Thursday through the weekend in San Juan, Puerto Rico. They were among twenty couples associated with the area Fanners’ Cooperatives who left by plane from Friendship Airport, Baltimore. In addition to visiting in the old and new sections of San Juan, they toured the entire island with stops at a sugar refinery, dairy farms and industrial developments. They returned home Sunday evening.
