Highway Resident Engineer James K. Skeens was unable to attend the meeting, but requested the Board set the annual Road Hearing in conjunction with the regular April meeting of the group. Donald Gore spoke for Mr. Skeens. A number of complaints were registered with Mr. Gore and included ice on Route 231 for a great length Of time.
Sheriff Charles K. Estes reported that the re-wiring of the jail and other repairs scheduled had been completed. He also said that the state inspector advised that heavy screens should be installed on all jail windows, so that nothing could be passed
