Mrs. T. W. Latham was tha guest from Sunday until Tuesday of Mrs. C. B. Curtis in Silver Spring, Md. Mrs. Ruth Corbitt left Sunday for Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. where she will spend several weeks with her sister Mrs. Walter Hunt.
Fourteen mem ben of the Amissvllle Methodist WSCS were present for the meeting last Wednesday at the church. The group made 36 small “coughing” pillows and cases for the hospital in Culpeper.
Dinner guests last Wednesday evening of Mrs. A. C. Latham were Lt. and Mrs. Robert Armentrout and daughter Shelly of Anchorage, Alaska and Mr. and Mrs. J. R. Latham of Horner Hill Farm. Mias Jennifer Carder of Culpeper was an overnight guest of her grandmother, Mrs. A. C. Latham, on Wednesday and Beverly Carder was her weekend guest. Mrs. J. L. Walter is spending a few days with her son and daughter-in-law Mr. and Mrs. •Leland Walter and family in Culpeper.
