Warrant Officer P. Lee Thornton of Sperryville has received his discharge from the U.S. Army after more than four years of active service. He enticed the service on December • »29, 1965. He has served two tours of duty in Vietnam, the first with Medevac where he piloted a helicopter evacuating the wounded, flying 1,790 missions.
