At a meeting of Rappahannock Democrats held last week, delegates were selected to attend the state convention in Staunton on June 6. Delegates are Mrs. George H. Davis, Jr., Mrs. Miriam Harris, Mrs. Leslie Ungar, Edward Bailey, and Miss Helen Fuller. Alternates are Clarence Dealing, Edward A. Harris, Johnny Summers, Mrs. Ethel Bailey (Mrs. Edward), and Virginia Miller (Mrs. B. M.).

Entri^ are registered daily for the Ruritan Club Horse Show set for Saturday, May 23, and the list continues to grow as it is apparent that spectators will see quality horses and excellent horsemanship in the show whicl will be held at Atnissville carniva grounds on Rte. 211 just west ol the village. Starting time is 9:0C a.m. Rain date for the show ii June 6.
The catalog lists 25 classes, including English and Western events; however, if entries an very small in a group, some classes may be combined.
