Mrs. C.E. Scott

A funeral service for Mrs. Annie Virginia Scott, 74, of Viewtown, widow of Charles Edward Scott, was conducted Tuesday at 11 a.m. at the Geest Funeral Chapel in Culpeper with burial in the family section of Fairview Cemetery. The Rev. J. H. Gabbert, pastor of Forest Grove Baptist Church, conducted the services.

Mrs. Scott died May 17, 1970 at her residence. She was the daughter of the late William M. Scott and the late Lessie Settle Scott of Rappahannock County.

She is survived by four sons, Moffett B. Scott of Springfield, Woodrow G. Scott of Alexandria, Edward P. Scott of Manassas and a foster son, Winfrey Deal of Marlow Heights, Md.; two sisters, Mrs. Victoria Corder of Amissville and Mrs. Irene Norman of Front 'Royal; a brother, Moffett H. Scott of Viewtown; also 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Pallbearers included Wayne K., Gene, Donald A., Woodrow G., Charles H. and Hamilton B. Scott, John D. Williams and Acrey Dodson. 1
