Ramey of Boyce; four sisters, Mrs. Daisy Fowler of Charleston, W. Va., Mrs. Helen Crawford of Bentonville, Mrs. Bertha Erb of Winchester and Mrs. John Hlliyard of Boyce; and foui grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Robert H. Riley, Herbert Foster, Gavoi Foster, Claude Foster, E. J. Welch and Jeff Oates.
Cecil A. Speake
A funeral service was conducted Thursday at Christ Episcopal Church in Luray foi Cecil A. Speake, 87, ol Hyattsville, Md. who died May 12 in Leland Memorial Hospital al Riverdale, Md.
Mr. Speake was a partner ir Mims, Speake and Company. Luray Architects and Contractors, many years ago. He was a resident of Washington, Va, while building the Rappahannock National Bank.
He is survived by his wife, the former Marie Miller; one son, Harry Miller Speake of Silvei Spring, Md.; four daughters, Mrs. Carl Humelsine of Williamsburg, Mrs. Cecil Aubrey, Jr., ol Riverdale, Md., Mrs. Howard Keller of Hyattsville, Md., and Mrs. Ed Kensler of Gainesville, Fla.; and 18 grandchildren. Also surviving is a sister, Mrs. Ethel S. Mims of Luray and a brother, E. Raymond Speake of Richmond. Grandsons acted as pallbearers.
Cary M. Fox
A funeral service for Cary Miller Fox 68, of Brandy Station was held Friday, May 8, at Clore Funeral Home, conducted by the Rev. A. C. Walker and the Rev. W. R. Snead. Burial was in Beahm’s Chapel Cemetery, Luray. Mr. Fox died May 6, 1970 at his home after a long illness.
He was a native of Page Countyra son of the late Charles H. and Lula Carpenter Fox. He had lived for many years at Brandy Station but was also a former resident of Rappahannock County where he was a rural letter carrier. *ii Surviving are his wife, Mrs Lucille Updike Fox of Btandy Station and a brother, Collier Fox of Luray .
