The Snacking Generation Hie January 1970 issue of i Today’s Health raises a startling j question: “Are we snacking our way to malnutrition?” Breakfast has become a thing of the past It is usually thrown together individually by each family member old enough to do so. Dinner takes an average of 20 minutes to prepare and 20 minutes to eat We have become a nation that “eats on the run,” causing mealtime to lose its traditional significance as a part of the day when the family gets together.

The point of it is, that our new eating habits are sadly lacking in well-rounded nutrition. At a time when we have more food available at a reasonable cost, and under the greatest wholesome conditions, there is no excuse for our heading towards malnutrition.
