Bank Promotion
G. Larry Warren, assistant vice president, has been promoted to commercial loan officer in the Greensboro office of North Carolina National Bank, effective May 18. He has been an area account officer in the Eastern Area of the bank’s national division, with offices in Charlotte. Warren is a native of Quinby, Va., the son of Mr. and Mrs. Francis C. Warren of Quinby. He is a graduate of Central High School in Painter, has a degree in commerce from the University of Virginia and earned a master’s degree in business administration at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill. He joined NCNB in 1966 after two years in marketing with Humble Oil and Refining Co. in Richmond.
He is married to the former Mary Peachey Lyne, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Lyne of Washington, Va. They have a daughter, Katherine Lyne, 3, and a son, Larry, Jr., 6 months.
