Mrs. Rena Mae Giles

Mrs. Rena Mae Giles, 53, wife of Clarence E. Giles of Washington, Va. died May 14, 1970 at the University of Virginia Hospital, Charlottesville.

Mr. and Mrs. Giles were co-owners of the Washington Cash Store.

She was a native of Rappahannock County, daughter of the late Willis Gabriel and Dora Davidson Burke. She was a member of the Washington Baptist Church.

Surviving with her husband are s son, Clarence Early Giles, Jr., and a sister, Mrs. Milton Hawkins, Jr., all of Washington, Va.

A funeral service was held Saturday at 2 p.m. in the Washington Baptist Church, conducted by the Rev. Jerry Campbell. Interment was in the Washington Masonic Cemetery. Pallbearers were Judge William F. Moffett, Jr., Judge Raynor V. Snead, John R. DeBergh, Paul A. Walker, Ronald D. Hawkins, Stewart W. Hawkins, Jonas R. Jenkins, Jr., and Melvin Giles.
