Robinsons Hat in
7th District Race
State Senator J Kenneth lobinson announced, Monday, hat he plans to seek nomination is the Republican party’* :andidate for the Seventh District Congressional seat presently occupied by John Marsh. The mnouncement was made at a sress conference in Winchester. Sen. Robinson opposed Marsh n 1962, and in his first try for elective office, he lost by less than 600 votes.
A successful horticulturist and father of seven, Mr. Robinson has many friends and is widely respected throughout the state and district by people of both major political affiliation. Students of the political scene consider it likely that he will become his party’s nominee, and that he will make a strong, and probably successful, run in November for the Seventh District congressional seat.
