Miss Linda Powers, a student at Madison College, returned to the home oof her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Powers on Thursday and entered Culpeper Memorial Hospital Monday and underwent surgery Tuesday. Jerry Powers of Newport News arrived Saturday to spend Christmas vacation with his parents.
Mrs. Herman Born of Takoma Park, Md. was a recent weekend visitor of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Forber and family and Mrs. Annette Schmidt.
