A group of children of Amissville Baptist Sunday School visited the Virginia Baptist Home in Culpeper on Sunday to sing carols for the residents. They were accompanied and directed by Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Waggoner.
Mr. and Mrs. D. G. Laing have returned to their home after a five-week trip to South America and are spending Christmas at Bunree Farm. Miss Nini Laing, who is a professor at Ashland, Ohio, has arrived home for the holidays. They will be 'joined Christmas Eve by Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Laing of New Baltimore and by Dr. and Mrs. Noel Laing and children of Purcellvi|le and Mr. and Mrs. Dwight Platt and son Charlie of Annapolis who will also spend the weekend.
