After much hard work the S.C.A. Nominating Committee came up with the candidates for next year’s offices. Running for President are Charla Sisk, and Bill Kilby; Vice-President Mike Anderson, Mauri Raney, and Ella Mae Harper; Secretary, Nanette Butler, and Cassandra Frye; for Treasurer are Greg Clark, Libby Snead, and Greg Foster; and for Reporter are Elaine Cameron, Buck Payne, Richard Gore, and Karl Burke. These students will campaign this week and elections will be held the following week. The teachers and the Seniors both looked forward to the game Wednesday. It turned out to be a lot of fun for everyone. Besides, it isn’t every day you see such experts playing basketball!!’. The Seniors are getting ready to start practice for the Senior play. Thursday they are scheduled to have readings for parts. They plan to show everyone what a fine play they can put on this year. The name of it is “The Courtship of Eddie’s Father”, somewhat similar to the television version. The date as of now has not been set but should be some time in the last of April.
