taining a beauty of environment? I am inclined to think He was. Don’t you think that He, being the outspoken person that He was, would have referred to some of the litterbugs of this area as ‘the scum of the earth’? What is scum? The dictionary gives the definition: Refuse; anything worthless or vile; hence, worthless or inferior people. Now, I am not saying that all people who will let a little waste get away from them is in that category, I do say that those who make it a habit of littering are right in there, up to the hilt. Step on some toes? I meant to, hard. If the shoe fits, wear it.
Wonder if it would be a good platform for some of the aspiring county officials; TO CLEAN UP THE COUNTY. I will support such a candidate.
A few days I tried to inaugurate a movement to help clean up a portion of our county, it died in the embryonic state. So, let George do it.
I was talking to an army officer sometime ago. He said that he had been all over the world, that our county had some of the most beautiful scenery he had seen anywhere. He didn’t seem to think much of our roads and the way they are maintained. Neither do I; and how about you? Can , something bg dona about it?
