The matron of honor was Mrs. Emmett Carl Grim of Atlanta, Georgia. She was gowned in sweetheart blue silk shantung made with a high waist, long fitted sleeves, band collar, and a long slimline skirt. The collar and skirt were decorated with a lace of blue and moss green. Her headpiece was a veiled circlet of blue shantung and lace and she carried a nosegay of blue tinted mums with white stephanotis.

Miss Cheryl Kraft of Highland Park, Illinois was bridesmaid and Miss Heide Eve Schueler, sister of the bride, was junior bridesmaid. They were attired like the matron of honor in sweetheart blue silk shantung and carried nosegays of blue tinted mums and stephanotis.

Best man was Hugh Herbert Brown of Humphrey Center, New York. Groomsmen were Charles Grey of Springfield, Virginia and H. Paul Schueler, brother of the bride.

The mother of the bride wore a deep rose brocade made with off center closing and long fitted sleeves, matching accessories and a corsage of deep pink cymbidium orchids.

The mother of the groom wore a shell pink silk shantung dress with jeweled band collar, matching jacket and accessories. Her corsage was of pink throated cymbidium orchids.

Following the wedding ceremony a reception was held in the Charter House, Alexandria. A buffet supper was served. The bride’s table was centered with a three-tiered pedestal wedding cake.

The bride and groom left for a wedding trip to Florida and Grand Cayman Island. For the trip, the bride wore a blue and rose flowered dress with a navy blue coat and navy accessories. She wore the rose corsage from her bridal bouquet. After April 5th, they will be home in Elizabeth, New Jersey.
