NOTICE TO THE PUBLIC

Notice is hereby given to the public that on March 12, 1971, Northern Piedmont Electric Cooperative filed with the State Corporation Commission new schedules of rates, charges, rules and regulations. The rates and charges proposed in the new schedules will result in increased charges for electric service and are proposed to become effective on bills rendered on and after May 25,1971.

The new schedules are on file with and may be seen at the offices of the State Corporation Commission, Blanton Building, Richmond, Virginia. Also, any information as to the new rates and charges may be obtained from the office of the Cooperative at Culpeper, Virginia. Any interested person who objects to the approval of the proposed rates and charges should advise the State Corporation Commission, Box 1197, Richmond, Virginia, 23209 of such objection on or before * April 12, 1971.
