Janet Yates of Madison College, Harrisonburg and Mr. and Mrs. Bill Yates and family of Roanoke were weekend guests of Mr. and Mrs. Lester Yates and daughter Lois Yates. On Saturday they attended the wedding of Mr. Yates' granddaughter, Linda Shueler to James Gould in Alexandria. Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Jacobs and son Ricky of Warrenton were dinner guests Friday night of Mr. and Mrs. Fred W. Schaefer and son Freddie.
Mrs. W. H. Lyne and son David spent the weekend with Mrs. Lyne’s brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. C. R. Powell in Arlington and on Saturday attended the Palmer-Corbett wedding in Clear Spring, Md.
Roy B. Reeve was in Blacksburg several days this week attending a postmasters meeting.
Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Hawkins and son Ronnie of Winchester spent several days with Mrs. H. H. Ay lor. Weekend guests were Mr. and Mrs. Buddy Aylor of Alexandria and on Saturday they visited Mr. Aylor in Staunton. They were joined for Sunday dinrter by Mr. and Mrs. Rannie Aylor. Mrs. Charles Battaglia and children Angie and Joey who spent two weeks in the Aylor home returned to Howard Beach, N. Y. Sunday. Mrs. Della B. Howard is a houseguest of Mrs. Aylor.
