Swimming Classes for nonswimmers six to fourteen years of age will start next Monday, July 19at 6p.m. at Meadow Brook Hall. (Meadow Brook Hall is located north of Flint Hill on the west side of Route 522.)
Paul Nichols has volunteered once again to serve as swimming instructor. Dr. Werner Krebser kindly consented to the use of his swimming pool and the Rappahannock Farmers Cooperative donated the chlorine.
Classes will be held Monday and Wednesday evenings from 6 to 7:30 p.m. and on Saturday mornings at a time to be determined. Classes will run from 2 to 3 I weeks. Total cost per child will be $2.30 This money will be used to cover cost of insurance and awards.
All parents must sign a form giving their consent for their children to participate in these classes before they will be permitted to swim. Forms may be obtained by contacting the County Extension Office or secured at the swimming pool. For further information contact your County Extension Office 6753619.
