There were many class activities to follow up the educational field trip. The group met the farm manager, Mr. Woodard, who showed them how the cows are carefully brushed and washed before being milked with machines. They were told how the milk is forced through clear pipes to a cooling and storage vat and then pumped into a large milk tank truck for delivery to the dairy for bottling and selling.
