Wreck Scene at
A’ville Intersection
The intersection of Routes 21] and 642 in Amissville was the scene of two traffic mishaps during the weekend.
Friday a 1962 Chevrolet operated by Eileen Batman Griffin of Annandale was struck by a 67 Plymouth operated by Richard Allen Criss of Amissville, according to Trooper W. A. Bun tin. The Griffin vehicle slowed to allow an unidentified car fti front of her make a turn and was struck in the rear by the Criss vehicle. Criss was cited for following too closely and damage to his vehicle estimated at $600 Damage was set at $350 to the Griffin car. Saturday afternoon a GMC pickup operated by Shirley Huley Lawson of Midland was towing an unlicensed Pontiac when he struck the cement abutment. Lawson said the tie rod broke and forced him into the bridge, said Troopef Buntin. \
