Robert Lacy Will*
R. Lacy Wills of Welch, W. Va. died July 27, 1971 at a Veterans Hospital in Beckley, W. Va. He was a native of Washington, Va., the son of the late John and Ruth Wills. He was a Veteran of World War I and a member of St. James Baptist Church in Welch. He attended Hampton Institute and was employed by the Appalachian Power Company. Survivors include his wife Mrs. Beatrice Neal Wills; two sisters, Mrs. Lena Wills of Philadelphia and Mrs. Mary Carter of Washington, D. C.; a brother, John C. Wills of Philadelphia; and a grandson, Avery Wills of Welch. A funeral service was held Saturday at St. James Baptist Church with the Rev. Braxton Broady conducting the rites. Interment was in Oak Grove Cemetery in Bluewell, W. V*.
