“You will defeat your purpose and waste your money if you continue to use the same old methods. If the tag on the new tablecloth tells you to tumble-dry, you may not be happy with linedried results. Or if you are directed to wash your new draperies or bedspread, you may be most unhappy if you send them to the cleaner,” warned Mrs. Payne.
“Consumers will find it important to read, understand and follow whatever directions for care and use accompany the product. They should also understand how to use the product to get the most out of it,” Mrs. Payne concluded.
