“Miss Virginia 1971“, who is Miss Linda Jean Moyer of Norfolk, will be a special guest tonight in the Flint Hill annual gala parade held in connection with the Firemen’s Carnival which began last night and continues through Saturday. Miss Moyer is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John H. Moyer and is a graduate of Chowan Junior College. She plans to enter Old Dominion University and eventually study law at the College of William and Mary. Miss Moyer, who is 20, is interested in modeling, water sports, riding, golf and tennis. Her talent presentation in the Miss Virginia pageant was singing.
