President. The Constitution and by-laws of the group which have been approved by the acting Board of Directors will be available for membership inspection. Permanent officers will be elected for the coming year. Regardless of membership all area residents and landowners are urged to attend this first membership meeting,” said Phil Irwin in a statement this week. “Everyones interest and talents are needed now. By membership participation we all will have a positive and vital effect toward protecting what is good and helping correct what is bad in our Rappahannock environment.”

The Amissville PeeWee Baseball team sponsored by Amissville Ruritan Club will attend the game September 4 of the Senators and Baltimore at RFK Stadium, as the guests of Ted Williams and Walter Masterson. The invitation developed after the group won the championship of the Fauquier County League.
The group will leave Amissville at 4:30 p.m. Saturday, September 4 and arrive at the stadium by 6:30. Here they will have an opportunity to meet some of the players before the game and view the event from guest seats on the foul line.
