Mr. and Mrs. Kuncewicz Return from Poland
Mr. and Mrs. Witold Kuncewicz and son Alexander returned to their home, The Kennels, Flint Hill this week from a six weeks trip to Poland and Belgium.
In Poland they stayed mostly at Kazimierz Dolny, the home of Mr. Kuncewicz’ parents. They also saw the wondrous city of Warsaw, the city of Lublin, Krakaw and the high Tatra Mountains and the town of Zakoplane. They were the guests of the Marquis and Marquise de Murga in Brussels and Oslend, on the North Sea. Hie Marquis has a racing stable of some 60 thoroughbreds that race on the flat and over fences. Among friends visited in Belgium were the Dowager Countess Lictervelde, widow of the Commanding General of the Royal Belgian Armed Forces, and Mr. and Mrs. Paul Van den Bosch. Mrs. Van den Bosch, who controls the firm of Martini and Rossi, has a tie to American steeplechasing through the annual Martini-Rossi trophies offered to lady and gentlemen riders on the point-topoint circuit.
Mr. Kuncewicz also made two business trips to West Germany.
