Jones, Commissioner of Revenue Mrs. Roberta Spalding and Assistant Mrs. Virginia Smith were among those attending the three-day Local Government Officials Conference Monday through Wednesday in Charlottesville. Mrs. Jones accompanied her husband to Charlottesville. Mr. and Mrs. Bob Weakley of Ft. Devens, Mass, spent last week with Mrs. Weakley’s mother Mrs. Mary Van Brederode at Blue Rock Farm.

Mr. and Mrs. Ian Pryde returned home Friday after spending a week with their son-inlaw and daughter Mr. and Mrs. John J. McLeod, jr. at Fire Island, N. Y. The Rev. and Mrs. William M. Hargett and daughters Patricia, Nancy, Michelle and Kathryn Ann returned Sunday from a month’s vacation spent at Sea Isle City, N J.

Mrs. Bertie Lib Moffett and Mrs. B. M. Miller accompanied Mrs. H. L. Miller of Luray to Winchester Sunday to visit Mr. H. L. Miller at the Shawnee Nursing Home.

Mr. and Mrs. H. Leslie Robinson and two children were dinner guests Sunday of Mr. and Mrs. C. J. Miller at Hampton Inn. Mr. Robinson returned to Alexandria Sunday after spending the week at The Rectory and conducting services the past two Sundays at Trinity Episcopal Church. Miss Carter Moffett left on Saturday to return to Mary Washington College for her Junior year. On Saturday she attended the wedding of her classmate Miss Gail Summers and Bob Riis at Springfield. Dr. James R. Bryant of Richmond was a luncheon guest Thursday of Mrs. W. C. Campbell.
