Plans are underway to vac cinate all horses in the state for Venezuelan Equine Encephalomyelitis, known as VEE The cost of the vaccination will be covered by the federal government provided horse owners cooperate in the original scheduled vaccination program. Vaccination will be done by your local participating veterinarian and the program will be scheduled by your county agent. Please call 675-3619 or drop a post card to W. R. Owings, Extension Agent, Box 98, Washington, Virginia 22747 within the next few days and let me know how many horses you will have to vaccinate and exactly where they will be located.
