The wedding of Miss Diane Lewis Hudson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Benjamin Arthur Hudson, Jr. of Calao, Va., to Charles Gary Burke, son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Edward Burke of Richmond took place Saturday, August 21 at 2 o’clock at Bethany Baptist Church, Callao.
The groom is the grandson of Judd Burke of Flint Hill.
Reverend Curtis Hawks officiated at the double ring ceremony. Following the wedding a reception was held in the church social hall. The couple will live in Richmond. The bride was given in marriage by her father. Her A-line gown of white organza veiled over taffets was accented with chantUly lace on the bodice and skirt. It had a ruffled neckline, bishop sleeves and a detachable train. Her full length veil of illusion was attached to a lace camelot cap.
