Robert L. Vetter of Amissville died August 25, 1971 at Fauquier Hospital, Warrenton. He was a retired farmer and was 60 years of age. He was a native of Davis, West Virginia; a member of Amissville Baptist Church and Amissville Run tan Club. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Marjorie E. Vetter. A funeral service was held Friday at ll a.m. at Amissville Baptist Church conducted by the Rev. Joseph Stirman. Interment was in the church cemetery. The Rev. Charles Kindred, a former pastor now located in Elkton, assisted with the service. Pallbearers were Nelson Burner, Silas O’Bannon, Aubrey Curtis, H. R. Terhune, Gilbert Lawrence and Eddie Hitt jr. Moser Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
William Underwood
A funeral service for William E. Underwood of Front Royal conducted by.-the. Rev. James JPrice was held Sunday at 1 p.m. in the Macedonia Baptist Church in Flint Hill, of which he was a member. Graveside rites in the church cemetery were held by members of Lodge 53 of the Masonic Lodge. Honorary pallbearers were members of the Pride of Warren Elks Lodge No. 486.
Mr. Underwood, 81, died August 26, 1971 in the Warren Memorial! Hospital. He was a retired em-! ployee of Randolph Macon Academy in Front Royal.
Surviving are a brother, Stanley Underwood of Flint Hill; a sister, Miss Stella Underwood also of Flint Hill and a number of nieces and nephews. Turner Funeral Home of Front Royal was in charge of arrangements.
