Miss Shirley Brown of Bethesda, Md. and Dr. Larry Cushner of Silver Spring, Md. were weekend guests of Mrs. Catherine Brown. Additional guests on Sunday were Mr and Mrs. Edward Payne and Mr. and Mrs. Charles Overhulser and Vicky White of Alexandria, Mr and Mrs. James Burnopp and children, Jay and Joey Lynn of Arlington, Mr. and Mrs. Benny Brown and Beverley of Winchester, Isaac Clater of Manassas, Kev. and Mrs. Jerry Campbell and family of Flint Hill. Mrs. Linda Smith, Julian Brown, Mrs. F. D. Coffey, Jr. and Clyde Atkins. The occasion was Mrs. Brown’s birthday. Mrs. Lester L. Yates and' daughters, Janet and Lois Yates recently attended the Primitive Baptist Association in Elkhart, Ind. They were weekend guests of Mr. and Mrs. William Yates and family in Roanoke. Lois Yates will leave for Williamsburg tomorrow where she will enter her freshman year at the College of William and Mary. Mr. and Mrs. Jack Wayland who were accompanied by Mrs. Martha Horton of Fairfax returned home Friday after a month’s motor trip to California. Among the many points of interest visited werev’the Indian Reservations, Grand Canyon, Las Vegas and the Tabernacle of The Latter Day Saints in Salt Lake City, Utah.
