country team at Rappahannock County High School scored a convincing victory in its first competition. The Panther team defeated the Warren County runners by a score of 21-34 on the up and down hill, rain dampened Warren County course Saturday, September 18. In cross-country, the lower score wins. Charles Thomas finished first over the 2.5 mile course with a time of 13.06 while Bill Taylor was in second place timed at 14.11 followed by John Summers with a 14.34.
