new team for Charles Thomas and Bill and Tom Taylor live only a half mile apart. These boys, with others, answered Coach Toth’s call for students interested in running cross-country events and initial efforts showed potential. They formed an informal but effective private training group which produced solid results. Old Hollow offered a near perfect training track as it crosses Piney Runandswingsback to form a five and a half mile loop of hills, curves and slopes.
