The annual Huff Reunion was held Saturday, September 18 at Flint Hill fire hall. The 41 in attendance were from Washington, D.C., Maryland and Virginia.

The Amissville Ladies Auxiliary | met September 14 at the fire hall with 11 members present. Business consisted of planning a menu for the fire school banquet in October and the Ruritan dub regular dinner meeting October 20. Also discussed was the serving of a benefit dinner with proceeds going to the fire department | sometime in November.
