Walter Masterson, who played professional baseball for fifteen years with the Washington Senators, was speaker for the Pee Wee Baseball banquet held Friday night in Amissville. The youngsters had been presented team pictures by manager Robert B. Settle and they had Mr. Masterson autograph them. Mr. Masterson was the starting pitcher in the 1947 All Star game.
