Dear Editor:
I would greatly appreciate it if you will allow me to make a public explanation of an issue that is greatly misunderstood by many people in Rappahannock. I, and most of the other jitizens of Sperryville opposed a sewer system that was planned for us by the Water Control Board, and we resisted vigorously through most of 1969 and part of 1970. Unfortunately, now we are being misjudged for having been AGAINST cleaning up our river. Nothing could be farther from the truth! Let me explain.
