Harvest Day Fete

The Annual Harvest Day at the Virginia Baptist Home, Culpeper will be held on Friday, September 24 beginning at 10:30 a.m. with a program in the chapel. The day’s activities will inclue visits with the more than 200 residents of the Home who have come to Culpeper from across the state.
In addition, the Hobby Shop under the direction of Mrs. Lucy Depro and the Infirmary under the direction of Mrs. C. G. Finney will be open. William R. Snead, Administrator, has announced that speakers will include Dr. John Bryan, Bluefield physician, and, also, President of the Baptist General Association, Rev. Coan Agee, Pastor, Ash Camp Baptist Church, Keysville; also W. L. Howse III, Nashville and Dr. Charles E. Neal, Executive Director of the Home. Special music will be provided by Sam Lanham, popular soloist from Culpeper. Mr. Snead invites all friends of the Home to join with Virginia Baptists from across the state to spend the day and stay for lunch as guests of the facility.
