OBITUARIES

Mrs, Reginald Hudson

A funeral service for Mrs. Pearl Hudson, wife of L. Reginald Hudson of Culpeper was held Wednesday at the Geest Funeral Home Chapel, conducted by the Rev. John S. Farrar. Burial was in Culpeper Masonic Cemetery. Mrs. Hudson, 87, died at Fredericksburg Nursing Home September 20, 1971 following a long illness. She was a native of Madison County, daughter of the late John W. Hitt and Georganna Thornhill Hitt. She resided at Slate Mills before moving to Culpeper 16 years ago. Surviving besides her husband are a daughter, Mrs. Leighton C. Harlin of Luray; a grandson Hudson C. Harlin of Culpeper; and a granddaughter, Mrs. Barbara McDaniel of Annandale. Also surviving are three sisters, Mrs. M. A. Hitt of Culpeper, Mrs. T. C. Clore of Novum and Mrs. Wydiffe Buckley of Warrenton.
