Workshop For

N. Va. Teachers

Teachers from eight Northern Virginia counties will meet on Saturday, September 25,1971 for a three and a half hour workshop at Fauquier County High School. Over five hundred teachers and administrators are expected from Prince William, Loudoun, Fauquier, Culpeper, Rappahannock, Warren, Frederick, and Clarke counties.

Gene Minnick, a teacher at Broad Run High School in Loudoun County and President of District N, Virginia Education Association, stated that Don Rapier, President of the 50,000member Virginia Education Association would be a speaker at the general meeting, as well as Dale Robinson of the National Education Association. The theme of the meeting will be “For All Children - Excellence in Instruction.” In keeping with the theme, teachers will meet in small groups to discuss their individual areas of instruction.
