Senator George S. Aldhizer, II, ruesday announced that Ralph J. Davis of Madison has been appointed co-chairman of his campaign for re-election in the 26th State Senatorial District. Mr. Davis, formerly of Luray, is vicepresident of the National Bank and Trust Co. with offices in Charlottesville.
Mr. Davis, twice a candidate for the House of Delegates while a resident of Page County said “I am pleased to have the opportunity to serve as Sen. George Aldhizer’s campaign’s cochairman. I have always had a great interest in the people of my state and this is another opportunity to serve Virginia. Sen. Aldhizer is well qualified, his seniority and experience best qualify him to serve our District in the State Senate. Virginia can best be served by us all working for George Aldhizer.”
